The BB Racers Club was developed in 1996 to encourage middle school students to participate in after-school fitness programs and develop a life-long commitment to health and fitness. By providing this opportunity, BolderBOULDER, together with its participating schools, hopes to send the message to students that physical fitness can be fun, and something in which all kids can participate, regardless of their age or physical limitations.
Each participant will receive a club membership card, BBRacers Club shirt and other goodies. Middle Schools will be given awards as usual based on participation separately from the elementary schools.
Students will receive a discount for registering for the BolderBOULDER as will all teachers and school staff. Club Coaches will be given a free registration. For students who cannot afford the registration fee, we offer them the opportunity to volunteer for lunch bag packing
