The JUST RUN! Just Kids 3K invites all children age five and over along with their family and friends to participate. Held on the same weekend at the Big Sur Half Marathon on Monterey Bay, the JUST RUN 3K event will begin and end on Monterey’s historic Cannery Row, and will run along the scenic Monterey Bay coastline in the town of Pacific Grove. All participants will receive a finisher’s medallion and a unique aquatic themed t-shirt, plus a free child admission to the Monterey Bay Aquarium (with paid adult). Following the race, there will be great food, entertainment and prize drawings on Cannery Row’s Steinbeck Plaza. The Run Forrest Run 5K sponsored by Bubba Gump will be held on the same course immediately following the 3K, and is available to youth runners as well.
