The YMCA Country Music Kids' Marathon offers young runners and walkers in kindergarten through sixth grade the opportunity to participate in a marathon modified just for them. Participants will complete the first 25.2 miles of the marathon at their own pace with guidance from P.E. teachers or their parents. On Friday, April 23, all participants will meet outside of LP Field to complete the final mile of the YMCA Kids' Marathon. Each child will cross the official Country Music Marathon Finish Line and will receive a medal and goodies commemorating their impressive accomplishment! This is a non-timed and non-competitive event starting in the evening hours on Friday, April 23, 2010.
