The annual Marine Corps Marathon Healthy Kids Fun Run will be held on October 24, 2009 in the Pentagon North Parking Lot. Children ages 6 to 13 are invitied to participate in the one-mile just-for-fun event. Registration is just $5 and participants receive a t-shirt, medal and snacks at the finish line. Online registration begins at noon eastern on May 13, 2009. Parents, families, and friends are invited to visit Camp Miles, a free all-day activity area featuring interactive challenges and games focusing on health and fitness.
